I am a registered psychotherapist (qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.With over a decade of experience as a law enforcement officer, I have developed extensive expertise in addressing trauma and grief. I have a passion for working with youth (12-18) and have experience providing court-mandated anger management and domestic violence programs. I also offer parent coaching to help guardians and caregivers navigate life with their youth(s).I completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) degree at Yorkville University in 2024. In 2011, I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree, minoring in psychology: brain and cognition, and political science. I understand the immense value of embarking on a mental health journey that focuses on self-care and resilience while balancing professional and personal demands.Using a strength-based approach, I mainly draw on Person Centred Therapy (PCT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help those who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, racial trauma, grief, low self-esteem, or general life stressors.​ I possess enhanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Prolonged Exposure (PE) therapy, and first responder reintegration after traumatic incidents.What are you going through?
