Nalwangas approach to the therapeutic relationship is rooted in ethnocultural understanding and empathy. Keenly aware of an emerging pattern of sentiment in her own practice, Nalwanga founded Karibu Mental Health Network in an effort to meet the increasing need for readily available, accessible and relatable therapists who are dedicated to serving diasporic communities. As a therapist, Nalwanga grounds herself firmly in the philosophical framework of Ubuntu and remains steadfast in her commitment to facilitate authenticity whilst remaining dedicated to helping people make sense of the challenges they face.
