I believe relationships have an impact on every area of a person’s life. The most important being the relationship with yourself. Our complex society has made navigating relationships challenging to say the least. Simply put, we could all use some help from someone we can openly talk to without fear of judgement.
Over the past 10 years in the social work field I have had the opportunity to work the front lines of the non-profit, education and government sectors. This has afforded me hands on case management, mental health, child welfare, research, counselling, mediation, and consultation experience.
I practice from an anti-oppressive framework committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. I implement a solutions focused approach (drawing from other modalities as appropriate) to enable my clients to realize their strengths, thereby empowering them to take the necessary steps towards health, happiness and successful relationships.
In addition to my work as a psychotherapist I also plan and host self help events in and around the GTA. I was also a youtube video influencer for a couple of years before starting RoP, primarily focusing on relationships.

As a psychotherapist, I see myself as a facilitator of change and a witness to my clients’ journeys of self-discovery. I believe that everyone has the potential for growth and transformation, and I feel honored to accompany my clients on their path towards healing and wholeness. Taking after others who have inspired me, I encourage my clients to step into their power and courageously embrace their vulnerability as a source of strength and connection.
My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and curiosity. I strive to create a non-judgmental and supportive environment where clients feel heard, seen, and understood. By listening with compassionate inquiry, I help my clients identify their limiting beliefs, cultivate self-compassion, and develop a growth mindset. While I draw on various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and eclectic approaches, I tailor my approach to each of my client’s unique needs, goals, and preferences, with the aim of empowering them to navigate life’s challenges with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
I’m looking forward to helping you on your journey! Feel free to book an initial session or a free 15-minute phone consultation using the links on this page. Even if you and I are not the right fit, I would be happy to help you find the right therapist for you.

A client once shared a quote by Ram Dass that resonated with me: “We’re all just walking each other home.” Every time I “walk a client home,” I feel honoured. I believe that everyone is born with an immense amount of strength, but it can be hard to see your strength when you are going through a hard time. My work as a psychologist is built on the foundation of a trusting relationship, a non-judgmental space, and the positive regard I offer to my clients. I work collaboratively with my clients, supporting them in acknowledging and embracing their strengths and moving gently towards change.
My passion for helping others has made my counselling journey an exciting one. For me, helping is about meeting my clients where they are and creating a safe space that allows for vulnerability. My work provides opportunities for people to express their feelings, thoughts, and worries, and in return, I offer kindness and expertise. Together with my clients, I assess their readiness for change and provide the help necessary to make decisions and take action.
My therapeutic lens is strengths-based and compassionate; I appreciate and attune to individuals’ diversity, culture, and experiences. I am passionate about working with individuals and couples from minority backgrounds, but regardless of your skin colour, gender, culture, or religious background, you are welcome in my counselling space. In addition to my own life experience, my professional experience, both in Canada and abroad, helps to foster a deep understanding of the challenges faced by diverse populations. My focus on the intersectionality of the multiple identities of my clients fosters a safe therapeutic environment, particularly for those with experiences of oppression.
