In so many aspects of your life, you have it all.
In fact others see as you really having it together.
Youre the one that others turn to for help.
But you have fears and personal concerns that you are holding you back from expressing love for yourself, your work, and important people in your life.

Hi, I’m Kerry-Ann, a Registered Social Worker in the provinces of Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. My super power is creating A Safe Space To Unmask. In sessions, I try to cultivate an environment where people feel alright being themselves, feeling their feelings, asking others for what they need, being supported as they try to heal from their past, feel empowered as they attempt to address current challenges, and feel hopeful about their ability to navigate whatever the future has in store.
I’ve been where you are, I’m no stranger to anxiety, depression, trauma, or the guilt-shame spiral. I’ve been on my own journey of courageous exploration, so I have great respect for you as you navigate your unique journey. I’m passionate about the therapeutic process and supporting change. I specialize in individual counselling because I truly believe society is structured in a way that forces us to share the stage the majority of the time. In my practice you, your needs, and your desires takes centre stage. In session with me, you will be HEARD, RESPECTED, AND SUPPORTED.
Good therapy is grounded in openness and trust. If your “spidey sense” is telling you I might be a good fit for you, then I encourage you to reach out to schedule an appointment: https://abccounselling.janeapp.com/

I acknowledge that I am an uninvited visitor gratefully living, working, and playing on the traditional and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
Who I Am
As a 2SIQ (2Spirit, Indigiqueer) tastawiyiniwak, transgender, queer, neuroexpansive (audhd, c-ptsd+), and disabled counsellor with mixed swampy cree (from fisher river cree nation), japanese, and Black/african diaspora & scottish (through jamaica) heritage, I bring a rich and intersectional perspective to my practice. My life experiences shape my work and enable me to connect with individuals across a broad range of backgrounds across the lifespan. My work is rooted in culturally informed and holistic practices, creating a warm, safe(r), and inclusive space for healing and growth.
My Approach
My approach is deeply rooted in spiritual wisdom and reciprocal relationships. My spiritual wisdom arises from my connection to spirit and ancestors, the land, and my inner knowing. I am guided by land-based, liberation-focused, and justice-oriented practices and wholeheartedly embody an indigenized and decolonized worldview. I believe that everyone carries unique gifts and the wisdom to move toward healing, growth, and change. I am not here to show up as an “expert”; I am here to walk alongside you as a partner, collaborator, or even co-conspirator, as you define your own experience. I honour each person’s unique rhythm and hold space for a therapeutic relationship guided by spirit and shared intention.
Through the relationships I have built in my personal, nursing, and counselling experiences, I have had the privilege of bearing witness to such a wide range of open, raw, and vulnerable expressions. From survival tools to warmth and protective strategies, I believe that they are all valid and deserve space, compassion, and understanding. In gratitude and reciprocity for the extensions of trust and vulnerability; I bring my gifts, knowledge, and lived-experience to each encounter with deep respect and reverence for our shared connection.
