Donna Alexander graduated from the University of Toronto in 2005 with a Masters in Social Work specialization in Mental Health and Addiction Services. She currently works at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in an Ethno specific service for clients that are of African descent.

Donna currently previously served as Vice President of the Black Health Alliance and the Black Experiences in Healthcare Initiative out of Mount Sinai Hospital. She currently serves on the Community Advisory Committee of the Toronto Children Aid Society and is a founding member of the Ontario Association of Black Social Workers.

Donna is an Adjunct Lecturer in the faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto and facilitates training on issues of diversity and cultural factors in clinical care.
