Ian Lloyd-George studied at the University of Toronto and received a B.A.Sc, and M.A.Sc  with specialization in Chemical Engineering. Having an avid interest in the interface between engineering and applied science and medicine, he then completed a Ph.D. in chemical engineering with a focus on artificial internal organs in general, with a primary focus on the liver. He has a personal belief that human potential is near limitless, if only we would remind our blinders and adjust our mindset to approach the ideal of mens sana in corpore sano.  Thus his involvement in Black Mental Health Canada is geared towards increasing knowledge in the areas of mental health, so that the community can boost its overall health and wellness, and better prepare the future generation for the exigencies of life.
