Katherine holds a Master of Arts in Applied Psychology, an undergraduate degree in Behavioural Neuroscience, and a Master of Science in Biology, all from Laurentian University. Katherine is currently working towards registration as a Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) working under the supervision of Dr. Stephanie Price, Ph.D., C.Psych. at MNDFL Collective based in Sudbury, Ontario She provides in-person psychological assessments (diagnostic, psychoeducational, developmental) in Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie, and virtual psychotherapy services across Ontario for adolescents and adults, specializing in neurodevelopmental conditions, marginalized communities, and dedicated caregiver support. Katherine’s therapeutic approach is rooted in the principles of multiple perspectives (e.g. Two-Eyed Seeing, Collectivism ) integrating evidence-based Western psychological practices with diverse perspectives, including Indigenous, Black, and other minority perspectives. Modalities primarily involves Culturally-Adapted Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CA-CBT) and positive psychology interventions, integrating a strengths-based framework and neuroscience to provide comprehensive, culturally-congruent care. Informed by extensive training and her own lived experiences and caregiving for a medically complex child, Katherine intimately understands the intersectional barriers faced by those living in Northern Ontario. Psychotherapy approach primarily involves culturally-adapted Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CA-CBT) and positive psychology interventions, integrating a strengths-based framework informed by behavioural neuroscience to provide comprehensive, evidence-based, and culturally-congruent care. Populations: Adolescents, adults, neurodevelopment conditions, individuals from marginalized communities, and dedicated caregiver support (e.g., burnout, stress, grief).
