About the Organizers

BLESSE (Born Leaders Elite Sanctified Social Enterprise) was founded by Andrew Bond, who turned his lived experience with incarceration into a mission of restoration. BLESSE provides culturally responsive, wrap-around support to Black men reintegrating into society, focusing on ownership—mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and economically.

Black Mental Health Canada is proud to partner in this initiative, championing mental wellness, equity, and healing in Black communities.

Why REAL’SILIENCE Matters

Black men face unique barriers related to systemic racism, stigma, and lack of representation in wellness spaces. REAL’SILIENCE creates a culturally rooted platform for truth-telling, healing, and collective growth—because Black men’s stories deserve to be heard, honored, and empowered.
