Anxiety, with its complex and varied manifestations, can create significant obstacles in daily life. It may manifest as a powerful force that paralyzes individuals, making it difficult for them to take action or make decisions. Alternatively, it can subtly infiltrate the mind, leading to feelings of passivity, reluctance, and a multitude of excuses that hinder personal growth and fulfillment. However, despite the different ways anxiety presents itself, it’s important to understand that it doesn’t have to control one’s life indefinitely.
Recognizing the unique challenges faced by Black women in dealing with anxiety, BMHC is excited to announce the launch of our transformative anxiety groups tailored specifically to their needs. In collaboration with Social Worker and coach, Brittany Georgeson, BMHC will facilitate “Overcome & Conquer: Black Women Anxiety Group” an empowering 8-10 week group counseling program, from Wednesday October 23nd, from 6:00pm-7:00, until Decmber 18th.
Throughout the program, participants will embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, armed with invaluable strategies to confront and overcome their anxieties. Drawing from a range of therapeutic techniques, practical exercises, and peer support, individuals will acquire the tools and insights necessary to reclaim control over their lives.
With only 25 spots available, our closed group setting ensures that each participant receives personalized attention and unwavering support on their path to healing. Take the first step towards a life liberated from the grip of anxiety with us.
