  I design banners for side cash and got called out by a client for making theirs “look like it was zoomed by a toddler.” Not my proudest moment. I knew I needed to get serious, so I looked up a proper breakdown of youtube banner aspect ratio. Found this one article that spelled it out without the usual bloated nonsense. Safe areas, pixel sizes, examples—all there. Fixed the mess, sent it back, client was happy. And yeah, I charged extra.
