I am Adeola Adenugba, a Canadian-trained Psychotherapist and a Canadian Certified Counsellor. I hold a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and another in Gender Studies. I am a professional member of the CAMFT, PACCP, and CCPA. In my practice, I use the following approaches in my work with clients; Attachment-based Approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy, Family Systems Approaches, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Approaches, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Strength-Based Approaches and Trauma Focused Approaches.
Being familiar with some of life’s struggles myself, I value the opportunity to support my clients and walk alongside them as they journey through life’s complexities. In my role as a therapist/counselor, I work with my clients on their personal, emotional, and mental health, to foster their general sense of well-being and peace of mind. I also work to promote the health of their interpersonal relationships and enhance peaceable, respectful, and loving relationships within the family structure.
So, if you are facing challenges in your personal, family, marital, work, school, or social life, know that as human beings, we are not meant to “do” life alone. You don’t have to figure this out all by yourself. I’m here and I would love to talk to you, walk with you, and support you through your life’s journey and experiences.
