Hello, and welcome! I’m truly glad you’re here. I’m a Black therapist based in Ontario, and I’d be grateful to walk alongside you as you navigate both the challenges and the growth moments in your life. Whether you’re working through something from your past or facing something that’s unfolding right now, my goal is to support you in strengthening your confidence, expanding your coping skills, and feeling more grounded in your day-to-day life. In our work together, you can expect warmth, compassion, and a non-judgmental space where you are genuinely heard and deeply respected. I see you not only for what you’re carrying, but also for the incredible potential you hold. If you’re experiencing difficulties at home, school, or work—or dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, relationship issues, life transitions, or the postpartum period—I’m here to help. My therapeutic style blends my clinical training with a down-to-earth, collaborative energy. I take a holistic view of your life so we can build a counselling plan that truly fits you and supports a well-rounded healing process. Uplifting your sense of self-worth and confidence is at the heart of the work we’ll do together. In our sessions, you’ll notice that I draw on trauma-informed principles, honour your personal agency, and stay rooted in a strengths-focused approach. I believe that our ability to move forward—especially when we feel stuck—comes from tending to our wounds, reconnecting with our inner power, and leaning into the strengths that already exist within us. **I’d love to connect with you. Book a free 15-minute consultation today and let’s explore how we can work together.**

Mental health is complex and a one size fits all model to support clients is not feasible. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and educator committed to applying an anti-oppressive practice (AOP) and trauma-informed care while working with individuals, families and couples. I strive to create brave spaces where all aspects of an individual can be explored and understood without judgement. With this curiosity, I seek to explore new narratives with clients rooted in hope, resilience and strength. I utilize a strength-based, culturally responsive and decolonizing approach and have extensive clinical work supporting newcomers, survivors of gender-based violence, and diverse populations in community settings.

You want to feel confident in who you are, but instead, you find yourself second-guessing everything. You put others first, struggle to set boundaries, and carry the pressure of expectations—from family, culture, school, or relationships. Somewhere along the way, you’ve started to lose your own voice. It’s exhausting, and it can feel incredibly isolating. You’re not alone in this experience. I work with Black teens and young adults who are navigating anxiety, low self-worth, people-pleasing, family pressure, and identity questions. Many of my clients feel misunderstood, emotionally overwhelmed, or stuck between who they are and who they feel they’re supposed to be. In our work together, we’ll slow things down and explore what’s been weighing on you. We’ll work on building healthier boundaries, strengthening your self-worth, and helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself. My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. I offer a culturally sensitive, non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. I’ll meet you with compassion, but I’ll also gently challenge you when needed—because real growth often happens just outside your comfort zone. I draw from strength-based, person-centred, and solution-focused approaches to support meaningful, lasting change. If you’re ready to feel more confident, more heard, and more in control of your life, I’d be honoured to support you.
