You’ve likely made your way here because anxiety and depression feel overwhelming. The past feels heavy, like a shadow that won’t leave, and the future seems clouded with uncertainty. Maybe you’re a highly sensitive person (HSP), feeling misunderstood in a world that feels too intense. Your heart feels heavy, and you long for a life that feels truer to who you are—but finding that path feels like the world’s best-kept secret. Hi, I’m Chloe. I deeply understand the tangles you’re trying to untie. I help people like you find ways to break free from these kinds of struggles and step into a life you’re excited to wake up to each day. I believe we each have a wise inner voice, a guide. All it needs is the right environment to be heard and take the lead. My Indigenous-Jamaican (Maroon) heritage has taught me that our spirit is a big part of who we are. Healing can begin when we reconnect with the parts of ourselves that might have been pushed aside or lost overtime. By doing this, we can uncover what truly feels right and meaningful, allowing us to live in a way that feels truest to us. Our sessions are a sanctuary—just you and me, focusing on your thoughts, feelings, and moving at your pace. I’m here to listen—really listen—to what’s weighing you down and honor your story without judgment. Bring your creativity, your culture, your spirit, and let’s channel that energy to unlock your way forward, together.

Hi, I’m Kerry-Ann, a Registered Social Worker in the provinces of Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. My super power is creating A Safe Space To Unmask. In sessions, I try to cultivate an environment where people feel alright being themselves, feeling their feelings, asking others for what they need, being supported as they try to heal from their past, feel empowered as they attempt to address current challenges, and feel hopeful about their ability to navigate whatever the future has in store. I’ve been where you are, I’m no stranger to anxiety, depression, trauma, or the guilt-shame spiral. I’ve been on my own journey of courageous exploration, so I have great respect for you as you navigate your unique journey. I’m passionate about the therapeutic process and supporting change. I specialize in individual counselling because I truly believe society is structured in a way that forces us to share the stage the majority of the time. In my practice you, your needs, and your desires takes centre stage. In session with me, you will be HEARD, RESPECTED, AND SUPPORTED. Good therapy is grounded in openness and trust. If your “spidey sense” is telling you I might be a good fit for you, then I encourage you to reach out to schedule an appointment: https://abccounselling.janeapp.com/

My passion for offering psychotherapy services is deeply rooted in my personal experiences. I wanted to fill a gap and provide representation to BIPOC individuals and couples who wanted to seek therapy, but wanted someone who had a similar background as them. I am a first generation Canadian, with parents who migrated from the Caribbean and Africa. I’ve used my life experiences to help shape my identity as a counsellor and help ground me in the work I provide. My therapeutic style is grounded in collaboration, curiosity, empathy, openness, and acceptance, as I believe these are the crucial building blocks for creating safety and transformative lasting change. In therapy, my hope is to facilitate a process where clients can understand and make meaning of their experiences and feelings in a way that feels genuine and authentic. I also hope to carefully curate an environment where you can freely explore culturally sensitive matters. I value the connections I make with each of my clients and understand the complex interplay of biological, psychological, and sociological forces that influence us and shape our experiences together. My approach and experience is based predominantly on Emotion Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I use various lenses and modalities to customize your therapeutic experiences because I appreciate that no two people are the same and can adjust accordingly to what suits your needs best.

Life can be hard and finding a therapist who truly hears you can be challenging. You might feel that no one understands what you’re going through. Experiencing pain alone may leave you feeling overwhelmed, stressed or numb as the days pass. Eventually the experience may feel like a never-ending rollercoaster with more downs than ups. However, seeking therapy takes strength and courage, and each part of you is welcomed (even your most hurtful parts or the parts you might avoid). Sometimes help is needed to cope with life obstacles, manage interpersonal relationships, regulate your emotions, and heal from your traumatic experiences. By overcoming distressing feelings, behaviors, and thoughts, it will alleviate suffering and open the door to genuine happiness. As we work together, I will empathetically listen to your life experiences while providing a nonjudgmental and supportive environment in which you can be your authentic self, expresses yourself freely, and feel empowered. The process of seeking professional help may seem overwhelming and challenging at first, but it is one of the most important steps on your journey to inner healing. You are welcomed to take the next step by contacting me to determine whether we are a good match!

Life often comes at us in ways that leave little room to breathe, feel, and reflect. This can create a cycle of survival that forces us to simply ‘get over’ what impacts us. I support clients in slowing down and tending to their mental and emotional well-being. I help clients understand the experiences that influence how they move through the world, foster compassion for how they have survived thus far, and develop new ways to care for themselves. I also gently challenge clients to recognize and lean into their strengths. I work with racialized individuals experiencing burnout, folks exploring their sexuality and gender identity, and couples navigating cultural differences. I practice from a place of cultural humility and honour how your identities shape your worldview. I also believe in bringing laughter into the therapy room when we can. Seeking help is a tremendous step that can feel daunting and hard to navigate alone. I am happy to chat with you about the therapeutic journey and how I can support you.
