Hello, my name is Taiwo (pronounced TIE-woh) and I’m glad you’ve found your way here! I hold a Master of Science in Psychotherapy, a postgraduate certificate in Concurrent Disorders and an Honours Bachelor of Arts. I bring over eight (8) years of experience supporting individuals including BIPOC and diverse communities, using lived experience, evidence-based approaches and practical tools. I believe that therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. I see you as a whole person rather than a diagnosis or set of symptoms. Therapy with me is holistic, collaborative, insightful and rooted in authentic connection. Many of the clients I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, self esteem, domestic violence, relationship issues, grief, immigration stress, bullying, identity using real life strategies. As someone who immigrated many years ago, I understand what it means to carry that invisible weight and the importance of slowing down. Wherever you find yourself right now, you do not have to carry everything. I see therapy as a journey of healing both the heart and mind.
