So many women in midlife are the ones everyone else leans on. They’re navigating changes in their bodies, emotions, relationships, and roles, often while raising children, managing careers, and caring for aging parents, all at the same time. Over time, all of that can feel overwhelming and isolating. Sabrina’s goal was to create a space where embracing support for themselves is normalized. Where women don’t have to push through or pretend they’re fine. Where they can better understand what they’re experiencing, and feel equipped to move through it with confidence and renewed belief in their own strength and wisdom. As a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with 20 years of experience, a specialist in perimenopause and menopause mental health, and a perimenopausal woman herself, Sabrina built this practice to be the space she wishes more women had found sooner. The work at our practice is grounded in evidence-based therapy, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Insomnia (CBTi), Internal Family System (IFS), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Somatic Practices, to name a few. It is informed by lived experience and shaped entirely around you, your goals, your pace, and the real life you’re living. The focus isn’t just on coping. It’s on helping you feel rested, steady, and like yourself again, because this phase of life can be beautiful. Our team is here to help you discover that. If you are looking for a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist who offers trauma-informed, whole-person, culturally affirming therapy, Sabrina would be honored to walk alongside you during this significant life phase. Reach out when you’re ready to experience real support. She is located quite centrally, in Meadowvale with proximity to Highway 401 and 407, and Meadowvale Go Station. Sessions are also offered online.
