Liezel Amador is a Registered Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with individuals and families. Liezel has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and has a special interest in working with young adults. Liezel offers individuals professional support and guidance in addressing and managing mental health concerns. This may include individual, couples, or group therapy sessions, as well as specialized services such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, or other evidence-based approaches. With experience working in schools and child welfare, Liezel has extensive knowledge of community resources, advocacy, and is able to assist in connecting with collaterals. Liezel is experienced in providing crisis intervention and case management. Liezel believes it is important to focus on improving the well-being of clients and address issues such as mental health disorders, relationship problems, and life transitions.Sessions are being offered in-person (Manitoba residents) and virtually (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta residents). New clients are currently being accepted.
