I have been in the helping profession since 2014 and worked with individuals, families, and communities in Nigeria and Canada. My passion is providing space and healing to people who have been through Traumatic/challenging experiences. My approach to treatment necessitates therapeutic alliance, which encourages the mutual development of therapy goals. I use the family systems theory as a grounding modality based on the premise that most adult challenges are deeply rooted in childhood experiences. I recognize that no one approach is ideal for every Individual. Therefore, I draw from different clinical modalities like Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, Person-centred approach, and biopsychosocial approach trauma-focused therapy. I have amassed training and experience in trauma, abuse, and addiction. I am a part of/have experience working with BIPOC families and communities.

Hello there! I’m a therapist based in Alberta who truly cares about my clients. I always put your needs first and take a client-centred approach to our sessions. I know it can be tough to seek help on your healing journey, but I deeply appreciate and admire your courage and vulnerability. To help us all feel connected, I use a collectivist healing approach in some of my work. Let’s work together to help you feel your best! Outside of sessions: When not meeting with clients, you can find me experimenting with new recipes, taking a stroll around city parks or exploring new music on Spotify. Therapy modalities: Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness Interventions, Solution-Focused Therapy, Attachment-based Interventions, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Trauma-Informed Interventions, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, 2SLGBTQIA+ Affirming Care. Accepting new clients in: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Saskatchewan and Yukon.

I am a native of Southwestern Ontario with Caribbean and European roots. I completed my Honours B.Sc. in Psychology at McMaster University in Hamilton. I then earned my M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University in La Mirada, California. I have been a psychologist in private practice for over 15 years, tailoring my psychological services to each client with compassion and expertise (based on the presenting problems and mutually-derived goals). I provide both long- and short-term psychotherapy, as well as both psychological and psychoeducational assessments. Through psychotherapy, I aim to help enhance your self-awareness, improve your mental health and well-being; help you resolve or mitigate problematic behaviours, thoughts, or emotions; help improve your relationships and social skills; and/or help you thrive in school, at work, or in various performance realms (including sports and the arts). For clients who so desire, I have graduate-level training and extensive clinical experience in helping clients integrate their faith into their psychological healing and growth.
