I hold a strong desire to support individuals through the process of change and growth, as well as to attain optimal mental wellbeing. I address the following issues with clients: childhood trauma, anxiety, domestic/relational abuse, life transition, emotional disturbance, communication issues, boundary issues or people-pleasing, negative thoughts patterns, self-esteem/self-worth concerns, depression, racial trauma, and relationship issues.
In therapy, I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment as you commence on your journey of healing, growth and change while exploring emotional wounds, fears and challenges that affect day-to-day living. My goal is to work collaboratively with you to build resiliency, uncover your strengths, develop coping strategies, and establish hope.

Growing up in Jamaica I realized that helping people was of great interest to me. It just felt good helping someone who was hurt, was having a bad day emotionally or simply wanted to talk. This genuine interest in the wellbeing of others, had me dreaming of a profession in which I could provide support to other people.
I have over five years experience working with individuals to realize their goals. I am delighted to be helping individuals to navigate through difficult times and celebrate breakthroughs with them. Using a strength-based approach to therapy, I journey with my clients as they discover and rediscover more about themselves and make sense of how their experiences have impacted who they are. Using clients’ support system, I use an integrative approach utilizing Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Solutions Focused Therapy.
