Welcome, I am glad you’re here! I know the world can be heavy and we can feel lost in it, but you are not alone. You are worthy of receiving support and it would be my honour to offer that to you. I am a Registered Social Worker with a Masters in Clinical Specialization. I practice from an empathetic relational lens, and work virtually with teenagers, adults, and seniors. I believe having a trusting therapeutic relationship with you is the foundation of great therapy and key to creating meaningful change. We will go at your own pace, and we will take the time to explore the concerns and challenges that you’re experiencing. I use a person-centered approach focused on the individual’s story. I apply various evidence-based models to best suit you, which will help guide you towards achieving your goals. I integrate mind-body and somatic modalities into my work because I believe the road to healing starts with knowing, understanding, and creating safety within ourselves. I have experience supporting people affected by anxiety, self-doubt, identity uncertainty, stress, caregiver burnout and grief. I also have specialized training in Pain Reprocessing Therapy to help people suffering from chronic pain find some relief. I value working with every client and invite you to reach out. My virtual room is a welcoming space to all. Please note: I work with Ontario and Alberta clients. My schedule is in Eastern Time (EST). For Mountain Standard Time (MST), please subtract 2 hours from the schedule.

You didn’t come here by accident! You came here because a part of you is ready to start unpacking the many things you’ve tucked away over time. The best part is you don’t have to do it alone, as exploring life’s hurdles, works better in collaboration.

Let’s be honest, life is hard, and in many ways, we juggle more today than we ever have! Unfortunately, life’s challenges can leave us feeling stressed, confused, de-motivated—and in some cases, even helpless and hopeless. It can be a tough road to travel, and unfortunately, many folks feel like they’re walking that path alone, unsure of who to turn to or what to do next. As a therapist, I don’t think anyone should feel that way, so in my work, I commit to supporting my clients, guiding them, and connecting them to resources that can benefit them. With past experience working with youth, students, adults, and parents, I enjoy collaborating with clients on a variety of challenges. From addressing past and current traumas to coping with physical and mental barriers, stress, anxiety, depression, family or career changes, I’ve helped clients find systems that work for them and achieve long-lasting change. Of course, there may be multiple layers to the challenges you face, and as a woman of colour, I know firsthand how some barriers can make circumstances feel particularly difficult or challenging to navigate. As a result, my goal is to consistently be there for my clients, help them consider various options and perspectives, work with them through the trials and tribulations, and remain a constant source of support, empathy and hope. At the end of the day, I consider it a privilege to do the work I do and I would be honoured to work with you! Through our time together, it’s my hope that you feel like you’re building a stronger sense of confidence, clarity and community and that ultimately, you walk away feeling more capable and ready to take on whatever’s next. I offer a free 15 minute consultation to any new clients and would be happy to respond to any inquiries via phone or email. Thank you, and I look forward to working with you!

Hello there! I’m a therapist based in Alberta who truly cares about my clients. I always put your needs first and take a client-centred approach to our sessions. I know it can be tough to seek help on your healing journey, but I deeply appreciate and admire your courage and vulnerability. I am passionate about working with the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community. I want you to feel respected and empowered, so I make sure to create culturally sensitive spaces. To help us all feel connected, I use a collectivist healing approach in some of my work. Let’s work together to help you feel your best! Outside of sessions: When not meeting with clients, you can find me experimenting with new recipes, taking a stroll around city parks or exploring new music on Spotify. Therapy modalities: Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness Interventions, Solution-Focused Therapy, Attachment-based Interventions, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Trauma-Informed Interventions, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, 2SLGBTQIA+ Affirming Care. Accepting new clients in: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Saskatchewan and Yukon.

Are you tired? You can rest here. I am committed to creating inclusive, anti-oppressive, and compassionate spaces for those who need it. As an Afro-Caribbean immigrant in Canada and a new parent, I understand the many curve balls life can throw at you. Rather than doing it alone, I’d love to help you along the path to healing. While I primarily focus on helping new parents and families, I know that there are people from all walks of life navigating hardship. I want to provide a space for you to feel nurtured, understood, and equipped with the tools to traverse uncertainty; whether this uncertainty is related to pregnancy and parenthood, cultural stressors, or interpersonal challenges. In addition to my dedication to mental health, I hold a fervent interest in music and dance. There is therapeutic power in creative expression and I hope to encourage you to utilize existing resources and passions as part of your journey towards healing and self-discovery. My approach to therapy is founded on empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine desire to foster growth and resilience in my clients. I am excited to support you!

I work from an integrative (e.g., psycho-dynamic, emotion-focused, cognitive-behavioural) perspective that is trauma-informed. I always cater therapy to whomever I am working with in order ensure that we are working towards the goals you would like to achieve. The therapeutic relationship is important to me. I strive to create an environment that is warm, open, and non-judgmental. I am open and accepting to any and all of your identities, whether that be religion, race, sexuality, beliefs or even if you have a lifestyle that is different.
